Harold Jones Quartey is a 2011 graduate of Horizon Science Academy. After, his freshman year he came to Horizon and was looking for a place to play football. Mr Edwards the Horizon Athletic Director told him about a program called the Columbus Crusaders. It was a club football team for players who attended schools that didn’t have a football team of their own. Harold would excel for them garnering a scholarship from the University of Findlay.
After, four years of exceling at Findlay Harold was hoping to hear his name called at the 2015 NFL Draft. Harold was not drafted but ended up getting signed by the Arizona Cardinals and given an opportunity to compete for a spot. At the end of the 2015 preseason Harold was let go by the Arizona Cardinals, and immediately claimed off waivers by the Chicago Bears. Jones-Quartey recorded his first NFL career interception and forced fumble against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on December 27, 2015.
As a rookie, Jones-Quartey shined while making the third start of his career. His efforts helped the Bears win in their 26–21 victory over the Buccaneers. He posted four tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and two passes defended. Jones-Quartey then received a nomination for the Pepsi Rookie of the Week honors for Week 16 of the NFL season.
